Education comes before commercial interest
Hinduism Insights selects topics because they help readers understand Hindu traditions, not because an advertiser or retailer wants a favorable description. A source, deity, scripture, festival, practice, or symbol will not receive special treatment in exchange for payment, access, gifts, or promotion.
Advertising cannot control a page
Display advertising may be evaluated later on suitable adult informational pages. An advertiser will not be permitted to approve, suppress, or rewrite an educational conclusion. Advertising must be visually distinct from navigation and editorial content. It must not look like a recommendation from a deity, scripture, temple, teacher, or Hindu community.
Sacred-text displays, child-directed lessons, teen resources, pathway controls, quizzes, personal learning data, corrections, and sensitive educational pages may remain ad-free. The Advertising Policy provides the detailed placement boundaries.
Affiliate relationships require disclosure
A later books or educational-resources section may use affiliate links. If that occurs, the relationship will be stated near the link and on the Affiliate Disclosure page. Commission potential will not determine how scripture translations or study resources are evaluated. No book will be described as the universal or officially required Hindu edition.
Sponsorship, gifts, and paid placement
Sponsored content, if ever accepted, must be labeled at the beginning and cannot imitate an independent guide. Paid placement will not be presented as a religious endorsement. Gifts, review copies, travel support, or other material relationships relevant to a recommendation must be disclosed. Advertisers will not receive private access to visitor pathway choices, saved lessons, or quiz results.
Children and families
Children’s lessons will not be designed around commercial products. Direct child pages will not contain display-ad placeholders, affiliate cards, countdowns, or purchase pressure. Adult parent and educator hubs may later contain carefully separated adult-oriented funding, but it must not interrupt the child’s lesson or activity.
Corrections remain editorial
A sponsor or commercial partner cannot purchase the removal of an accurate correction or block a well-supported update. Corrections are assessed against evidence, scope, and context. Readers can report a concern through the Corrections page.
Current status
No display advertising, affiliate links, sponsored articles, paid product placements, analytics, or advertising cookies are active. Any future activation requires technical, privacy, accessibility, and policy checks before public use.
