From the editors

Practical guidance still needs sources

Journal posts link to the evergreen library for definitions and cite sources when they make factual claims. They do not use fake bylines, credentials, view counts, or comments.

How the Journal fits

Practical guidance beside an evergreen library

The Journal does not duplicate definitions already covered by the reference guides. It explains how to begin, compare sources, teach a child, prepare for a festival, or choose a translation. Every factual claim remains subject to the same source standards as an evergreen article.

The six current posts are dated because they are publications. Topic archives with only one post are kept out of the sitemap so a convenient filter is not mistaken for a complete subject destination. The main Journal and archive remain the reliable ways to browse the whole collection.
